Dr. David Hafler authored one of the papers, and his bio and laboratory are oneline as the Hafller Laboratory.

It turns out I was part of the clinical study that discovered the genes.  Funny enough, I didn’t realize it until I received this letter from the UCSF Multiple Sclerosis Genetics  Group.

Is it possible for a MS-er to see to see any link between his or her disease and genes at all?

It is more connection between scientists and big pharma rather than between MS and genes. Usually soon after such discoveries new drugs are introduced.

One more interesting detail: title of this blog is “Curing” Multiple Sclerosis while I can not see anything concerning currying. Thats rather about treating. These two are completely different approaches.

It was exciting to hear about the new ms news regarding the 2 genes found Il2 and Il7 but what ewxactly does that mean ? especially when they said it is yeatrs away at best. As a person with ms. I need something to be done now. I know that may be impossible but that is what I need, hope is great as is promise, but there should be therapies now that could help alleivate ms symptoms, what they do have out now are very disapointing.
